I seem to be having days of “firsts.” That is one of the perks of Spring. Although I may have seen the same event in previous years, it never stops exciting when the yard teams with days of returning life after a harsh, long winter. It makes dealing with the fickle weather of Spring a little easier.
I had heard that the Baltimore Orioles were on the move. They had been spotted west of where I live. Last week I hung 1/2 an orange from an oak tree and put out a sugar feeder.
Low and behold, this morning, I spotted him. That brilliant orange that I spoke of in a previous posting, was indeed, brilliant.
No, it’s not Halloween, just another beautiful day of Mother Nature’s colors.
